Popular beach town Alibaug is 120 kms away from Pune and it is a 3 and a half hours journey. It is 100 kms from capital city Mumbai. It is located in Raigad district. Alibaug is a well-known beautiful long beach in the Konkan region of Maharashtra.

Alibaug Beach

You can go around the and have site of historic forts, and clean water beaches. From the Alibaug main beach you can have glance of the Kolaba fort. The sand here has a hard texture and is a shade of black. This beach offers various water sports and boat ride also.

Mandwa beach

Kolaba Fort

Kolaba fort or Alibaug fort It is placed 2 kms away from town. It is protected monument. It is built in 1680. The fort attracts tourist for its historic importance. During the reign of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, as it was the chief naval base. There is Siddhivinayak Temple on this Fort built by Rangoji Angre. There is a Dargah of Haji Kamaluddin Shah on the fort. Next to the northern wall of the fort you can see two English Cannons mounted on wheels
